Miles Soren Alabaster
The Alabasters are renowned scholars of magic, paving way to new foundations of knowledge and uncovering the inner-workings of the ever-elusive subject. Miles was meant to be nothing less than a prodigy, and nothing more. Especially after his sister - a prodigy herself - died; he had to be the new family pride.
Although standoffish, Miles grew into his parent's footsteps and was starting to make hedge ways of his own. He was a top student at the Institute of Magical Excellence and was only a few months away from graduating when he was detained by guards. His parents had discovered he was practicing forbidden magics and turned him over to the kingdom. They claimed their son was corrupted, that he was dangerous, and the King was forced with no other choice but to execute Miles.
That very afternoon, he was shoved onto the chopping block. However, they had not taken the proper precautions, and Miles ripped the blood from the bodies of the guards and escaped.
Miles, officially, has been banished, but is a "kill on sight" target for anyone who spots him with the strength to kill him. He's spotted sporadically, from one stretch of the kingdom to the other, disappearances following wherever he goes.

Personality
Miles is very blunt. He hates dancing around words and avoiding topics to save feelings. He prefers to be told what is and what isn't, and to be told it quickly and without worry. He's relentlessly determined and very stubborn, acting off a basis of "ration." He doesn't blink an eye at killing anyone - whether it be an enemy or someone innocent - and operates on a twisted moral conduct that he claims is "for the better." He talks in a flat, monotone voice with a British accent that doesn't fluctuate much. Although he isn't much of a people person, when he does like someone, he plays heavy favorites and makes that very apparent through his actions.

Fun Facts
- He has a horrible sweet tooth. He'd sneak into the kitchen at night as a child and steal whatever he could reach.
- As a child, he was referred to as "The Glass-Eyed Boy" by some of the other nobles due to his unexpressive face.

- An ex-classmate/dormmate discovers Miles after he's been exiled.
