Lowell was born into a world of judgement and politics, being the only son of two nobles who are barely managing to keep their titles. For his parents, he is their last-ditch effort to rise up in the ranks of vampire hierarchy. Growing up with not only the scathing eyes of his parents on him, but also everyone else, Lowell quickly got used to the warmth of the spotlight. He grew to adore that very spotlight, to relish in the eyes on him, as being in the darkness only meant his parents would never even so much as glance at him. So, he did their dirty work for them: lied, cheated, beguiled, manipulated; anything for them to look at him when he came home, and tell him he did good.

Growing up comforted only by tales of knights in shining armor and true love's kiss, Lowell grew into a man who's utterly and hopelessly romantic. He wishes to be whisked off his feet the same way those princesses were, to be taken by the hand and be told, "You matter to me more than the world." Aah, to live such a dream... Even in his more bleak life where connections are nothing more than weak, splintering threads, he still holds out hope for his own true love to turn up one day. Though he puts on an act of being a villain full of nothing but dramatic flair, he would drop down on one knee if a stranger merely admitted they liked him.
